WRITE A LETTER
Letters to the Editor
Writing a letter to your local newspaper is a great way to educate your community about choice issues. Here are some tips to keep in mind when writing:
1. Always include your full name, hometown, and a telephone number. Many newspapers will not publish anonymous letters.
2. Keep it short. Most letters will be edited by the paper for length and clarity, so keeping your letter short and to-the-point will increase the chances
that it will be printed.
3. Verify any factual information your letter contains.
4. Most newspapers will not print multiple letters from the same person, so don't bother inundating one paper with a different letter every day.
